Let me tell you I was in shock when the air conditioner turned on today. I guess because it was 75 degrees on this 2nd day of January. Can you believe that??? 75 degrees!! I found out later that we broke a 99 year old record. I think breaking 99 year old record is something to blog about!! Don't you??

No matter where you went on Monday people were talking about the weather. The unseasonably warm weather set a record high and it’s a record that has been around for a long time.
Parks all over middle Tennessee were full of people taking advantage of the spring like temperatures.
A record high of 75 degrees was set on Monday in Nashville. That blows away the 1907 record of 70 degrees on the second day of January.
A lot of parents were surprised that their kids could go outside today and they really did not need a coat.
The warmest it has ever been in the month of January in Nashville is 78 degrees.
