As the boys get ready to leave this morning for their first day back to school, my mind can not comprehend that they are a Senior and a Freshman. It doesn't seem that long ago that they were little. Where does time go? Have I done everything as a mother to prepare them for life?? These are my thoughts this morning. I was up at 4:30am praying for them to have a safe and a wonderful school year. I never understood when my blessed mother would tell me when they were little "These are the best years of your life with them". She always seemed to say that while I was frustrated with them for fighting with with other or making messes everywhere. Everytime she did, I thought to myself "OHHHH SURE!". But now, I FULLY understand what she meant. When they are little, you can control the situations easier and protect them a little more. As they get older, it's not so easy to control the situation to make sure they are safe and protected. You have to let go and let them become young adults. The scripture in the Bible where it speaks how God feeds and cares for the birds "how much more does He love us" comes to mind. I know God will be with them. I am truly blessed to have been chosen to be their Mother.Until next time....

They grow up really fast don't they! I know how you feel...I have felt the same way! Just know you've done everything you can, the rest is in God's hands. :)
