Today I saw the oreo commercial where the cute little triplet girls were sitting at a table in little pink tutus. Each girl has a glass of milk and an oreo cookie. When they go to dunk their cookies they can't because they don't have enough milk in their glasses. So the girls on the outside pour their milk in the glass of the girl in the middle. Now they can dunk their cookies in the milk and enjoy their snack. I have watched this cute commercial several times, but today as I watched it God spoke to my heart. This is how we should be in our spiritual life. If we share the good news of Jesus with others (pouring the milk into 1 glass), then we get to enjoy the goodness and blessings of God (dunking the cookie into the milk and eating the oreo cookie). In Mark 16:15 it says, "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." This tells us we should share the good news of Jesus with everyone we come in contact with each day. Also we are to be there for others that need a friend to lean on during a difficult time in their life. Pouring what we have into the lives of others. John 13:35 "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." In Psalm 115:12 it says, "The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us;". Wow our sovereign God is mindful of us. He will not only bless us when we are obedient to His calling, but He WANTS to bless us. I don't know about you, but I want all the blessings I can get from God. He knows exactly how to bless me and exactly when I need it. He is an awesome God and so worthy of our praise!!!
