Movie Meme Tag

Yesterday I was "Movie Meme" tagged by YellowRose's Garden(Definition: Meme - ( long 'e', silent 'e') A unit of cultural information, such as a cultural practice or idea, that is transmitted verbally or by repeated action from one mind to another.)

I had a difficult time deciding what movies I should pick. Our family loves to spend time in front of a good movie with a good cheesy pizza. With that said, here are my 5 choices:

1. The Wizard of Oz ~ As a child, I absolutely loved this movie. At times when it is on tv, I stop what I am doing, get an afghan and curl up to watch it (even tho I own the movie on DVD).

" I'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog, too!"

2. Footloose ~ This movie reminds me of my teenage years. This was a big movie in 1984. I remember going to see this movie with a good friend. There wasn't a girl in my class that wasn't in love with Kevin Bacon.

"Hey Hey! What's this I see? I thought this was a party. LET'S DANCE!"

3. Pretty Woman ~ If I could only pick 1 movie as being my favorite, I would have to say this would be the one. It is such a great "Cinderella" type movie. I love movies where the girl gets her "prince".

"I'm gonna treat you so nice, you're never gonna let me go."

4. Ms. Congeniality ~ I could not make this list without 1 of Sandra Bullock's films. She has to be my absolute favorite actress. I love this movie. If I need a laugh, this movie does it for me!

"You think I'm gorgeous... You want to kiss me... You want to hug me... You want to love me... You want to smooch me... "

5. Pirates of the Caribbean ~ Last but not least, Pirates of the Caribbean. This is a great "ghost" story.

"You better start believing in ghost stories! You're in one!"
