Football time in Tennessee

It's football time in Tennessee. Tonight was Football Star's first High School football game. He plays on the Freshman team as First String Left Tackle. Big Daddy and I were decked out in our Red and Black tonight. We traveled to Warren County, Tennessee. Even tho they lost 13-0, it was so great to see him play his hardest. I am so proud of him. He got in 1 great tackle and they said his name over the PA system. It was so cool. Talk about proud parents. I am sure everyone knew he was ours just by the HUGE grins on our faces! He has worked very hard to get where he is now. In Isaiah 40:31 it says, " But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." I prayed that God would keep him safe tonight. Thank you Lord for not only Your Word but thank you for answering this Mother's prayer.

Until next time.....

God Bless~

Proud parents in the stands....boy, been there, done that!! LOL

Our son played football since he was 6 yrs old. In Texas, football is a religion. :) We have gone through bumps, bruises, sprains, breaks and surgeries. Yep....seen it all! LOL

I'll keep your son in my prayers that he stays safe and whole during this football season!

Thanks YellowRose. I had no idea the bruises he would aquire during all this. It is so difficult for a mother, but he loves it so much. Thank you again for the prayers.
